Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has launched a subtle dig at Manchester City by claiming that he does not like a "circus" atmosphere following a victory.
The Portuguese coach reportedly had milk thrown at him during a fracas in the tunnel at Old Trafford following last Sunday's 2-1 defeat to City.
Reports have claimed that Mourinho went to confront the visiting dressing room as he did not agree with City's noisy celebrations, and as a result of the controversy, the Football Association has opened an investigation.
The Red Devils managed to respond to their defeat by overcoming Bournemouth 1-0 in midweek, and ahead of Sunday's encounter against West Bromwich Albion, Mourinho has spoken of the atmosphere around the camp.
"The next day the place was normal - as I like it," FourFourTwo quotes the United boss as saying. "I don't like a circus when you win and you're happy. I don't like a sad place when you lose. I like an emotional balance. Bournemouth was difficult and we coped. Back to normal."
The North-West outfit currently sit second in the Premier League table, 11 points adrift of leaders City.
