Paul Merson: 'Nobody is scared of Manchester United'

Manchester United are no longer a frightening proposition for opposition teams, according to Paul Merson.

Paul Merson has insisted that opposition teams no longer fear coming up against Manchester United.

The former Arsenal midfielder made the claim on Sky Sports News following United's 3-0 defeat at the hands of rivals Liverpool in the Premier League earlier today.

"There are ways of getting beaten and that was a turning over. It could have been four, five or six. They look lost as a team. Nobody is scared of them anymore," he said.

The Red Devils have lost half of their 14 matches in 2014.
