Manchester United youngster Anthony Martial has admitted that he has a long way to go before he can live up to comparisons with Thierry Henry.
The summer signing from AS Monaco has made an impressive start to life in English football by finding the net four times already for the club.
This has prompted widespread comparisons between Martial and another former Monaco forward in Henry, who made a similar impact during his eight years at Arsenal.
Martial says that he would like to one day reach the same level as his countryman, but has rejected the similarities in their style of play.
"I know this is a very great player who is a legend in England," he told French TV channel BFM. "I do not think we have the same characteristics.
"Thierry Henry is Thierry Henry. I still have everything to prove. By continuing to work, I will try to reach his level but I am still very far off."
Martial has been named in the latest France squad for the upcoming friendlies against Armenia and Denmark.
