Juan Mata: 'Manchester United can still win title'

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata insists that the team can still challenge from the Premier League title this season.

Juan Mata has insisted that Manchester United can still challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Louis van Gaal's side secured their first win in three league matches with a 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford yesterday.

The Spaniard, who scored from the penalty spot in the victory over the Baggies, told MUTV: "Let's see about that one, as there are still too many games until the end of the season.

"We have to take it game by game. It was a difficult month for us with some tough games, but I think we are still in a position to do it.

"Now we have to focus on the national team and then we have a lot of games in late November and December and we have to be at our best level."

United sit fourth in the table, a point behind the league leaders, who have a game in hand.
