Queens Park Rangers captain Joey Barton has blamed himself for Manchester United's winning goal at Loftus Road yesterday.
The West London side suffered a 2-0 defeat following a misplaced pass from Barton, which Red Devils midfielder Michael Carrick latched onto to secure the win for the Premier League champions.
"Second goal was my mistake," Barton wrote on Twitter. "It happens. It's gone. Time to move forward again.
"Have a wonderful night, enjoy the rest of todays sport. Whilst I go home, sit in a darkened room and go over that bad pass 80 times in tears."
Neil Warnock's side sit 15th in the league table with 16 points.
