Javier Hernandez: "David Moyes needs time"

Manchester United Javier Hernandez backs David Moyes to succeed at Old Trafford, but warns that the former Everton boos "needs time".

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has backed his manager David Moyes to succeed in his role at Old Trafford, but also said that the 50-year-old "needs time".

The Red Devils have endured a difficult start to the season, and currently lie in eighth place in the Premier League table.

However, the Mexican striker believes that the Scot is getting to grips with his new role.

"I think he is getting used to the club," Hernandez told MUTV. "Everton is a very important club in this country as well, but with the history and tradition at Manchester United, he needs time to get used to it, to find that rhythm to get good results and start winning titles."

Manchester United face Fulham in the Premier League this afternoon.
