Pep Guardiola hints at Bayern Munich stay by claiming he 'loves' the city

Pep Guardiola hints that he could stay at Bayern Munich after claiming that his "love" of the city could convince him to sign a new contract.

Pep Guardiola has hinted that he will stay at Bayern Munich as he 'loves' living in the German city.

The Spaniard, who took over at the Allianz Arena in 2013, has been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Manchester City have been touted for some time as Guardiola's next destination, while Manchester United have also recently been reported as a possible option.

However, there are also rumours that the 44-year-old will extend his contract at Bayern before it expires at the end of the season.

According to Bild, during a fan event in Munich, Guardiola said: "The town is crazy. I love it. I am very satisfied, my family too.

When asked if living in the city could convince him to sign a new deal, the former Barcelona boss said: "Yes, it would be a big reason. We will speak after the Hannover clash [on December 12] and come to the right decision for me and the club."

Bayern currently have an eight-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
