Sir Alex Ferguson believes that it's not "easy" for Queens Park Rangers to be at the bottom of the league but is confident that Harry Redknapp is the right man to turn it around.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that it won't be "easy" for Queens Park Rangers to pull themselves out of the relegation zone, but the Scotsman is confident that boss Harry Redknapp is the right man to do it.

The Red Devils go up against the West London outfit on Saturday 48 points ahead of their opponents, who remain at the bottom of the Premier League table.

"It's not easy at the bottom of the league and Harry will be the first to admit that," BBC Sport quotes Ferguson as saying. "But with his experience he'll have a better chance than most in that situation.

"There's a real spirit in our place, though, and a good determination about us. We have to treat every team the same way we treat Real Madrid or anyone else."

Meanwhile, Ferguson has confirmed that both Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones will be absent from the match due to a sinus infection and ankle injury respectively.
