Sir Alex Ferguson admits that he expects a tough atmosphere at Carrow Road.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that he is expecting a tough atmosphere at Carrow Road this afternoon.

The Scot admits that Paul Lambert's side and their supporters have exceeded all expectations following their promotion to the Premier League, and expects the Norwich City faithful to be out in full force yet again today.

"Norwich is an interesting club," he told MUTV. "They have a full house for every match.

"They have their own little empire down there. It feels as though you're cut off from everywhere. Nonetheless they're being successful.

"I think they have probably exceeded everyone's expectations. In fact, all the promoted teams have excelled, particularly Norwich."

Manchester United currently trail league leaders Manchester City by five points.
