Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick admits that winning against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Sunday will be tough.

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick believes that the game against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday will be one of their "toughest".

The Red Devils will take on Andre Villas-Boas's side at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.

"This could be one of the toughest games we've got left this season," he told The Sun. "We've had good results there in the past but we know it will be tough, it always is.

"You've got to think that one day soon Spurs could challenge for the title. This season it's too much to ask but last season they were challenging at this time of year — until we went there and won."

United are currently four points clear at the top of the league table.
