Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes was reportedly left seething with Mason Greenwood during a Red Devils training session.
Greenwood has come under fire for his recent misdemeanours off the pitch, with a recent report claiming that United chiefs are becoming concerned about his conduct following his expulsion from the England camp in Iceland.
The youngster has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's lineup this season and did not feature at all against Everton, with the United boss claiming that Greenwood's absence was down to illness.
However, The Times reports that Fernandes has been less than impressed with the way that Greenwood applied himself in training, with the Portuguese midfielder lashing out at his teammate after he refused to make a run for a pass.
The matter is understood to have been resolved quickly, and the report indicates that Greenwood's illness was the reason for his sluggish training performance rather than any attitude concerns.
Nevertheless, Greenwood is yet to regain the trust of England manager Gareth Southgate and did not make the cut for November's fixtures, unlike Phil Foden, who has been included despite also being sent home from Iceland for breaching coronavirus protocols.
