Daley Blind: Manchester United "not happy" with West Ham United draw

Daley Blind believes that Manchester United's late goal against West Ham United to salvage a 1-1 draw shows that the Red Devils will "fight" for every point.

Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind has confessed that this evening's 1-1 draw against West Ham United feels like two points dropped despite his late equaliser.

The Dutch international found the net in the second minute of added time at Upton Park to cancel out Cheikhou Kouyate's earlier opener.

United remain in the top four of the Premier League following the latest round of fixtures, although with Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal fast closing in, Blind admits that a victory was needed in East London.

"We showed we can fight but we are not happy with the draw," he told Sky Sports News. "The first half was a battle and we couldn't play the ball how we wanted. We started the second half well then the goal came and then we had to fight again for the good moments."

United return to league action on Wednesday night when they play host to a struggling Burnley side.
