Ander Herrera: 'Plenty more to come'

Ander Herrera warns the Premier League that he will continue to improve for Manchester United in the 2015-16 season.

Ander Herrera has told Manchester United fans that he is expecting to make further strides next season.

The Spaniard, a £30m summer signing from Athletic Bilbao, has netted eight goals during his maiden season at Old Trafford.

"It's been a tough season, a lot of change at the club and a lot of change in the squad, but I'm happy with my development," he told The Mirror.

"Of course I have to keep improving and keep going, but eight goals for a midfielder is a good stat.

"I'm an ambitious player so I want to keep improving. There are 25 players in the squad and I have to fight a lot if I want to play."

Herrera has started 21 games in all competitions this season.
