Manchester United and Newcastle United are drawn to meet in the EFL Cup fourth round in a repeat of the 2022-23 final.

Manchester United and Newcastle United - the two 2022-23 finalists - have been drawn to meet in the EFL Cup fourth round.

On Wednesday night, Newcastle upset the odds with a 1-0 victory over Premier League leaders Manchester City, effectively throwing the competition wide open in the process.

However, their reward for prevailing at St James' Park is a showdown with Man United at Old Trafford, the team who they lost to in last season's final.

In another blockbuster tie, West Ham United will play host to Arsenal at the London Stadium, while Liverpool will travel to the South Coast to face Bournemouth.

Chelsea's reward for edging past Brighton & Hove Albion is a home encounter against Blackburn Rovers, with Fulham also facing Championship opposition in Ipswich Town.

A third all top-flight clash sees Everton host Burnley, while Exeter City's reward for overcoming Luton Town is a home meeting with Middlesbrough.

The remaining tie - which was the first drawn out of the bag - sees League One outfit Port Vale make the trip to League Two club Mansfield Town.

All eight matches are scheduled to take place on the week commencing October 30.
