Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag was full of praise for his squad following Friday's 3-1 victory over Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.
Marcus Rashford scored once and made the other two, with the Red Devils advancing into the fourth round of the competition at the expense of their fellow Premier League side.
Alejandro Garnacho made a telling contribution from the bench, winning the late penalty that Rashford dispatched, while Fred, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay also made positive impacts as second-half substitutes against the Toffees.
Ten Hag has said on a number of occasions that the Red Devils are working to bring a new forward to Old Trafford during the January transfer window.
However, the Dutchman hailed the strength of his squad following the success over Everton.

"It's not all the time the same substitutes we bring in, or the same starting XI, but what I really like in this moment is that we are working as a squad, not only as a team," he told reporters.
"All the players are ready to play, they are prepared to come on the pitch to help out, or they score goals, but also to help out in the midfield and defending, to defend when we are up - luckily we are not often down to react to that - but also you see that the players are ready to come on and to help out; fighting, supporting with conviction to get the best result and that process I am really happy [with]."
Antony was back among the goals against Everton, with the Brazil international opening the scoring in the fourth minute of the contest, and he has now netted four times in 15 appearances for the club.
"I think it was a great goal, but of course great action from Marcus Rashford on the left side, we don't often reward the movement from players," Ten Hag added.

"Also with Anthony Martial today, a lot of good movements, he makes space for other players on the pitch and that was also [the case] with the movement of Antony. With the first goal he was in the right spot, but it was great movement to be there."
Meanwhile, Ten Hag also hailed Rashford, with the attacker now boasting 13 goals and six assists from 24 appearances for the Red Devils this term.
"It is himself [the reason why he is flourishing this season]. He has the skills, I am supporting him, I am motivating him, that is clear," said the Dutchman.
"I think I put him on the right position on the pitch, but to be fair he can play across the whole front line and in some cases behind. We can use him also as a tactical weapon, and he is scoring from every position.
"If he keeps this focus, I am convinced he will score even more goals. If he keeps investing in training, investing in the games, I'm sure - I'm convinced - he can keep the goals coming in this run."
Man United will now be looking to advance to the semi-finals of the EFL Cup when they welcome Charlton Athletic to Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
