Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez miss training with injuries

Manchester United strikers Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez miss training ahead of the club's Champions League fixture with FC Basel.

Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez are unlikely to feature for Manchester United during the Champions League fixtures against FC Basel tomorrow evening.

England international Rooney is currently nursing a hamstring strain, which forced to him to miss United's 1-1 draw with Stoke City, while strike partner Hernandez suffered an injury early on at the Britannia Stadium.

Should the duo miss the tie, Sir Alex Ferguson will have to choose between Danny Welbeck, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen to lead the line at Old Trafford.

Also absent from training were captain Nemanja Vidic, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans.
