Micah Richards is to sign a new long-term contract at Manchester City, according to Sky Sports News.
The defender is reported to already have a substantial deal, but manager Roberto Mancini is hoping to keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.
The 23-year-old signed professional terms with City in 2005 after youth spells with Leeds United and Oldham Athletic.
Richards has gone on to make 12 senior appearances for England since his debut against the Netherlands in 2006.
