French champions Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly plotting a summer move for Manchester City striker Erling Braut Haaland.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City striker Erling Braut Haaland this summer.

The Norway international arrived from Borussia Dortmund in July 2022, signing a five-year deal with Pep Guardiola's side.

Since joining the Citizens, Haaland has been in impressive scoring form, racking up 33 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions.

In his 25 Premier League games, the Norwegian has scored on 27 occasions, with his latest strike taking place in Saturday's narrow win over Crystal Palace.

Haaland dispatched his 78th-minute spot-kick to guide his side to a 1-0 victory, which temporarily closed the gap at the top of the table to two points.

However, Arsenal restored their lead over Man City to five points after they thrashed Fulham 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Although Haaland is currently the Premier League's top scorer, there have been claims that Man City are not as efficient as a unit with the 22-year-old in their side.

According to Sport, PSG have identified Haaland as a potential transfer target, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023-24 season.

There could be plenty of activity at the Parc des Princes this summer following the club's last-16 exit from the Champions League.

Although there has been discussion surrounding the futures of all three of PSG's main forwards, the report claims that they are keen to pair Haaland with Kylian Mbappe.

A move for Haaland would cast further doubt over the futures of Neymar and Lionel Messi, with the latter out of contract at the end of the season.

Man City are not expected to sanction a sale, but there is a belief that PSG could activate Haaland's release clause, which is believed to be worth €200m (£177m).

Haaland is also attracting interest from Real Madrid, who were keen to sign him before he moved to the Etihad Stadium last summer.

Los Blancos are looking to find a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema, who has struggled with injury issues this season.
