Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has revealed that he is waiting for a response from Manchester City after bidding for Carlos Tevez.
Reports had suggested that the Premier League leaders rejected a £20.7m bid from Inter but Moratti claims that he has not heard from the club.
Moratti told Sky Sports News: "We haven't received any response from Manchester City yet.
"Now we have to see if it's worth the bother of signing him."
Tevez has not played for Manchester City since a public argument with manager Roberto Mancini.
