Manchester City will reportedly reject all offers from Barcelona for captain Vincent Kompany.

Manchester City will reportedly turn down any approaches from Barcelona for captain Vincent Kompany.

It is well known that the Spanish giants are looking for a new defender in the summer transfer window, with Kompany believed to be on their list.

While City are expecting an offer from Camp Nou, the centre-back will stay at the Etihad stadium to steer the club's 2013-14 campaign, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Kompany signed a new six-year contract 12 months ago.
