Manchester City to launch late £38m bid for Porto's Eliaquim Mangala?

Manchester City reportedly prepare to launch a late £38m bid for Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.

Manchester City are reportedly planning to make a late swoop in the transfer window for Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.

The former Premier League champions are believed to have been tracking the 22-year-old for some time, but have just three days left until the window slams shut.

According to Goal.com, City will try to test Porto's resolve with a £38m bid, but it has been claimed that a summer switch to the Etihad Stadium is more likely.

Reports have stated that defender Joleon Lescott could leave the club if City succeed in their pursuit of Mangala.
