Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli has opened the door to a potential summer move, with Manchester City thought to be interested in his services.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form at club level during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring three times and providing two assists in 26 Serie A appearances.
Man City are believed to have an interest in the Italy international, while Real Madrid and Juventus are both said to be admirers of the central midfielder.
When questioned on his future, Locatelli suggested that he would be open to exploring new opportunities in one of the upcoming transfer windows.
"I don't know if this will be my last year here or what the future holds for me. When, and if, there are opportunities, we will evaluate them all together," Locatelli told Corriere dello Sport.
"Playing abroad is an option for me and at the moment I'm not excluding anything. It's part of my job and it means that I have raised my level. Certain certificates of esteem and interest from big clubs increase my motivations and make me understand I'm on the right track."
Locatelli has a contract with Sassuolo until the summer of 2023.
