Team News: Manchester City unchanged for Borussia Dortmund clash

Manchester City keep the same starting XI from their 1-0 friendly defeat to Bayern Munich as they prepare to take on a much-changed Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has kept faith with the same starting XI from their 1-0 friendly defeat to Bayern Munich as they prepare to take on Borussia Dortmund in Thursday's clash.

First-team regulars Aleksandar Kolarov, Fernando, Fernandinho and Jesus Navas are joined in the selection by youngsters Pablo Maffeo, Tosin Adarabioyo and Angelino, while teenage winger Brandon Barker is again given the chance to impress and Kelechi Iheanacho is chosen to lead the line.

Meanwhile, BVB boss Thomas Tuchel has shuffled his pack, with Roman Burki, Matthias Ginter, Marc Bartra, Nuri Sahin, Emre Mor and Moritz Leitner all in the starting lineup.

Ousmane Dembele keeps his place after impressing against Manchester United in the Bundesliga side's 4-1 win over the Red Devils, while Adrian Ramos will lead the line in the absence of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Borussia Dortmund: Burki, Ginter, Sokratis, Bartra, Schmelzer, Rode, Sahin, Mor, Leitner, Ramos, Dembele

Manchester City: Caballero, Maffeo, Adarabioyo, Kolarov, Angelino, Fernando, Fernandinho, Zinchenko, Barker, Iheanacho, Navas
