Sports Mole looks at how Manchester City could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Manchester City will be missing Kevin De Bruyne for Sunday's Premier League match against Everton, with the Belgium international entering a period of self-isolation after testing positive for coronavirus.

Jack Grealish is expected to miss out with an injury that he picked up over the international break, while Phil Foden also suffered a knock while with the England squad and could miss out.

Ferran Torres is also still out with a foot injury, meaning that there could be a position in the final third of the field for Raheem Sterling, who continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

Sterling could start off the left, with Riyad Mahrez operating from the right, and Gabriel Jesus going through the middle for the reigning Premier League champions.

Bernardo Silva, Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan are likely to feature as the midfield three, but head coach Pep Guardiola has a tough decision to make at the back.

Indeed, Aymeric Laporte is available once again following a suspension, and the Spain international is battling John Stones for the starting role alongside Ruben Dias in the middle of the defence.

Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo have both returned from international duty unscathed, meanwhile, and will feature as the two full-backs for the Citizens.

Manchester City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Bernardo, Rodri, Gundogan; Mahrez, Jesus, Sterling
