Bernardo Silva: 'Manchester City won't always win easily'

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva insists that the Premier League leaders will not always score freely in each competition.

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has claimed that the club will not always find it easy to score goals this season.

City have netted 39 times in their last 10 games - all of which have been won - and Pep Guardiola's side are yet to lose a match in any competition this season.

However, Silva has insisted that City will face more "complicated" games as the campaign progresses into the winter months.

The 23-year-old is quoted by Manchester Evening News as saying: "You cannot always win 7-0 or 7-2, or 6-1 or 5-0. Some games are more complicated than others, and the most important thing is to win the three points and then keep winning, winning, winning.

"When you get used to winning, everything is much easier – the atmosphere, everything, goes better and that's what we are trying to do."

City are next in action on Tuesday when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the EFL Cup.
