Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has hailed Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne as "world class" following his recent performances.

The Belgian international was excellent against Arsenal last weekend and he dominated Saturday's game for Pep Guardiola's side as they ran out 3-1 winners over the Foxes, distributing the ball effectively and creating a number of key chances.

Saturday marked Rodgers's first time going up against the former Wolfsburg schemer and he was highly impressed, telling reporters: "Kevin is unbelievable. He's a world-class player and, with world-class players, they'll find the space.

"You can block up spaces and be tight and organised, but the world-class players will find the space.

"It's his level and mentality. To see it live, at that level and with that quality, was absolutely great."

The 28-year-old has scored six goals and created a further 10 in 17 Premier League appearances for City this season, averaging more than 52 passes per game.
