Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola hails Kevin De Bruyne following Saturday's 3-1 win over Leicester City.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola branded Kevin De Bruyne "a spectacular player" following the Belgian's performance against Leicester City on Saturday.

The 28-year-old was the driving force for City in the final third and capped off his display with an assist for Gabriel Jesus to make it 3-1 against the Foxes.

Guardiola said that De Bruyne was the key reason why the Citizens overcame Brendan Rodgers's side, who had been unbeaten in the league since October ahead of the late kickoff.

"I enjoyed it much more [than the Arsenal game]. Kevin De Bruyne was incredible tonight - he won the game for us. He has always been incredible since we've been together. His commitment is incredible. He's a spectacular player," Guardiola told Sky Sports News.

De Bruyne was forced off in the latter stages of the contest at the Etihad Stadium, but the attacker insisted after the match that he had only suffered cramp.

Next up for the English champions is a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 27.
