Manuel Pellegrini: 'Beating Cardiff City is our priority'

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says that the team's sole focus is beating Cardiff City this weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Manchester City's priority is to beat Cardiff City this weekend.

The club have been linked to a number of transfers during the current window, while talk of the possibility of the team winning four trophies this season has also been building in the run up to tomorrow's match.

The manager told reporters: "We will try to do a good game for the fans, so far we are doing well but every game is different. They only lost to Arsenal late on in the game so we are not thinking it will be an easy game.

"All of the players must know that winning tomorrow is the only important thing. It's not important for us to think about what happens in one or two months.

"I know nothing about any [transfers], we are not concerned about this at the moment. We are just thinking about Cardiff at the moment."

City's first defeat of the season came against the Welsh side in August.
