Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says that West Brom are playing the "best football" in the Premier League.

Roberto Mancini has said that West Bromwich Albion have played the "best football" in the Premier League this season.

Mancini takes his Manchester City side to The Hawthorns this afternoon with just a single point separating the two clubs.

"I should say many compliments to [Albion boss Steve Clarke] because he has done a very good job," the Birmingham Mail quotes the Italian as saying.

"In this moment, I think West Bromwich is the team that has played the best football, so for us it will be a tough game."

The last time the two clubs met, City came out on top 4-0.
