Manchester City manager has admitted that he hopes left-back Wayne Bridge will leave the club during the January transfer window.
Bridge has only played once this season and Mancini believes the former England international should leave Eastlands next month.
"I don't understand why there are some players that have a chance to go and play, and don't," Mancini said.
"Wayne is a good guy but I hope he leaves in January."
The 31-year-old has also been criticised by Mancini for not accepting a transfer to Celtic in the summer.
"Wayne is a good guy, but he had two or three chances in the summer, including Celtic, who are an important team," Mancini claimed.
Bridge joined City from Chelsea in January 2009 but has only made 40 league starts for the club and has fallen behind Gael Clichy, Aleksandar Kolarov and Pablo Zabaleta in the pecking order.
