Sergio Aguero starts as Manchester City face Sunderland in the third round of the League Cup at the Stadium of Light.

Manchester City have named Sergio Aguero in the starting lineup for their League Cup third-round tie at Sunderland this evening.

The Citizens have also handed starts to Raheem Sterling, Yaya Toure and record signing Kevin De Bruyne.

There is also a place in the side for goalkeeper Willy Caballero, as Joe Hart is rested.

Meanwhile, Sunderland have given a debut to DeAndre Yedlin, while Italy international Fabio Borini leads the attack.
