Stevan Jovetic delighted for returning Sergio Aguero

Stevan Jovetic is happy to see Manchester City teammate Sergio Aguero resume training following a knee injury, with clashes against Arsenal and Chelsea on the horizon.

Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic has said that Sergio Aguero is returning from injury at just the right time.

On Monday, Aguero confirmed through Twitter that he had returned to training after suffering a knee ligament injury at the beginning of December.

With Edin Dzeko also sidelined, Jovetic has led City's forward line over the Christmas period, but the Montenegran is delighted to see his Argentine counterpart - who has 19 goals this season - near his comeback.

"Sergio was in the form of his life when he damaged his knee against Everton and it's such a pity that he picked up his injury when he did," he told The Mirror.

"It's been said many times lately, but he is one of the best players in the world and we all hope he will be back very soon - Edin too. It's a pleasure to play alongside him."

The Citizens face Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea in their next three Premier League games.
