France midfielder Samir Nasri has been told off by his dad for the controversial way in which he celebrated his equaliser in the 1-1 draw with England.
The 24-year-old put a finger on his lips before pointing to the press box and shouting "shut your face".
Nasri's father Abdelhamid said: "I've explained to Samir that it wasn't the best way to respond.
"I don't give my backing to mood swings like that. He shouldn't have made this gesture because people, including children, are watching and because the whole country was behind him.
"Samir was tactless towards journalists, because he has been through difficult times."
The Manchester City playmaker had revealed that his taunt was aimed at French newspaper L'Equipe.
