Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola makes two changes to his starting lineup for Tuesday night's Champions League showdown against Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made two change to his starting lineup for Tuesday night's Champions League showdown against Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.

Riyad Mahrez, who scored three goals in the semi-finals of last season's competition against the Parisian outfit, has been brought into the side at the expense of Phil Foden, who drops to the bench.

Despite scoring the winner at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, Gabriel Jesus is replaced in the first XI by Raheem Sterling, who is starting for just the third time this campaign across all competitions.

The Citizens head into this encounter after they secured all three points in their opening Group A clash against RB Leipzig, with a thrilling 6-3 victory at the Etihad Stadium earlier this month, while PSG were frustrated against Club Brugge, drawing 1-1 in Belgium.

A back four of Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and Joao Cancelo – who all started against Chelsea last weekend – keep their places, shielding Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, who is making his 200th appearance for the club tonight.

Rodri has been selected ahead of Fernandinho to start in the defensive midfield role and will be joined in the middle of the pitch by Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.

In attack, Mahrez and Sterling are joined by £100m man Jack Grealish, who scored on his debut appearance in the competition last time out against Leipzig.

As for PSG, six-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi is named in their starting lineup, after recovering from a knee injury, and is joined in a formidable attack alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
