Vincent Kompany ruled out of Paris Saint-Germain clash

Vincent Kompany is ruled out of Manchester City's Champions League decider with PSG.

Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of Manchester City's Champions League decider with Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow night.

The skipper trained with the first team this morning as he steps up recovery from a calf problem, but manager Manuel Pellegrini has now confirmed that he will play no part as City look to make the semi-finals of the European competition.

Pellegrini also revealed that defender Nicolas Otamendi suffered a twisted ankle in the league win over West Bromwich Albion at the weekend but will be fit enough to feature.

Raheem Sterling is also out for the hosts as he recovers from a groin injury.

City enter the match as slight favourites after claiming two vital away goals in the French capital last week.
