Fernandinho trains for Manchester City, Sergio Aguero absent

Fernandinho takes part in Manchester City's training session ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash against Barcelona, while Sergio Aguero is absent for the start.

Manchester City could receive a boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Barcelona after Fernandinho was included in this morning's training session.

The 28-year-old was a doubt for the encounter after he suffered a muscle injury during City's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on February 3.

However, Fernandinho was part of today's training session at the Etihad Stadium ahead of Barcelona's visit tomorrow for the first leg of their round-of-16 tie.

Sergio Aguero's involvement has also been doubtful due to a hamstring injury that he picked up on January 29, and it appears that City could be without the Argentina international as he did not emerge at the start of the training session with the rest of his teammates.
