Paris Saint-Germain team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole rounds up all of Paris Saint-Germain's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League clash with Manchester City.

Paris Saint-Germain will be out to avenge last season's Champions League semi-final exit to Manchester City when they welcome Pep Guardiola's men to the Parc des Princes on Tuesday in Group A.

Mauricio Pochettino's side could not open their continental campaign with three points on the opening matchday, as Ander Herrera's effort was cancelled out by Club Brugge's Hans Vanaken in a 1-1 draw on September 15.

Les Parisiens enter this game having maintained their 100% record in Ligue 1 with a 2-0 win over Montpellier HSC, and they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat in this fixture during the 2020-21 semi-finals before being sunk 2-0 at the Etihad.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of PSG's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Possible return date: September 28 (vs. Man City)

Six-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi notably snubbed a handshake from Pochettino when he was hauled off against Lyon on September 19, but it has since been revealed that the Argentine is suffering from bone bruising, although Pochettino is hopeful that he will be passed fit.

Marco Verratti

PSG's latest medical update revealed that Marco Verratti is due to return to full training this week after recovering from a knee problem, and Pochettino is optimistic about his chances of featuring here.
