Aston Villa are reportedly in talks with Ezri Konsa over a new and improved contract at Villa Park.
The 23-year-old has been a key player for Dean Smith's side during the 2020-21 campaign, making 25 appearances in all competitions, including 24 in the Premier League.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in the centre-back, and according to The Mirror, Villa are keen to commit the Englishman to a new long-term deal.
The report claims that the fresh agreement will bring him in line with some of the other top earners at Villa Park and reflect his importance to the team.
Konsa's existing deal is due to expire in June 2023, although Smith's side have the option of activating an additional 12 months.
The defender came through the youth system at Charlton Athletic before representing Brentford during the 2018-19 campaign ahead of a switch to Villa Park.
