Swindon Town loan Liverpool youngster Kevin Stewart

Swindon Town complete a deal to sign Liverpool defender Kevin Stewart on loan for the season.

Liverpool defender Kevin Stewart will spend next season on loan at League One outfit Swindon Town.

The 21-year-old, who signed for the Merseyside giants last summer, makes the step up to the third tier of English football after making a number of appearances in League Two during the last campaign.

At the start of 2015, Stewart played four times for Cheltenham Town before he ended the season by helping Burton Albion to the league title.

Anfield teammate Jordan Williams has also made the temporary move to Swindon.
