Brendan Rodgers insists Luis Suarez will be staying at Liverpool next season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez wants to stay at the club and is looking forward to his style of football.

Suarez has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, with Juventus the supposed early suitors, but Rodgers said that the 25-year-old is looking forward to the coming season at Liverpool.

"I'm confident Luis is really looking forward to playing for us this season and is really looking forward to this way of football," Sky Sports News quotes Rodgers as saying.

"I have spoken to him and had nothing but positivity from him."

Suarez joined Liverpool for £22.8m in January 2011.
