Report: Liverpool's Pepe Reina to undergo Napoli medical

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina will reportedly fly to Italy to undergo his medical with Napoli on Wednesday ahead of his proposed loan move.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is reportedly flying to Italy to have his medical with Napoli today.

The Spanish keeper has agreed a season-long loan switch to the Stadio San Paolo outfit following Simon Mignolet's arrival at Anfield earlier this summer.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers recently admitted that keeping Reina as backup did not make financial sense.

Reina will arrive in Napoli to undergo the examination and put the finishing touches on his move, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The 30-year-old signed for Liverpool from Villarreal in 2005.
