Report: Real Madrid preparing Alberto Moreno bid

A report claims that Real Madrid want to sign Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno in the January transfer window.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno back to Spain in the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old joined Liverpool from Sevilla in 2014 and has already made more than 60 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League club.

This season, Moreno has appeared 20 times for the Reds, but according to Marca, Real Madrid are confident of enticing the Spaniard back to his homeland when the winter window opens at the start of 2016.

Marcelo remains Real Madrid's first-choice left-back, but the Brazilian has had injury problems this season and his replacements Nacho and Danilo have both been unconvincing on the left side of the defence.

Moreno has three senior Spain appearances to his name, but has not played for his national team since 2014.
