Norwich City are reportedly considering launching a bid for Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey when the transfer window opens.
The former Charlton Athletic player initially appeared to be a favourite under manager Brendan Rodgers, but he slumped down the rankings as the season progressed.
It is understood that the Canaries have contacted the Merseyside outfit over the availability of Shelvey, who is said to have an £8m price tag, according to The Express.
The England Under-21 international made just nine starts for the Reds in the Premier League last season.
