Barcelona have reportedly demanded that Luis Suarez agrees to a bite clause if he is to join the club this summer.
The Liverpool striker had been linked with the move to the Primera Division side prior to the biting incident at the World Cup which has left him with a four-month ban from all football-related activities.
According to The Mirror, the Catalan side is willing to offer the Uruguay international a five-year deal worth £160,000 a week and help with his appeal against his suspension if he agrees to a number of special clauses relating to his behaviour on and off the pitch.
Liverpool are believed to be seeking around £80m for the PFA Player of the Year, while Barcelona want to pay no more than £50m.
