Liverpool 'prepared to quadruple Jordon Ibe's wages'

Liverpool are reportedly willing to offer Jordon Ibe a five-year contract worth £25,000 a week.

Liverpool are reportedly ready to quadruple Jordon Ibe's wages in an attempt to tie him to Anfield long-term.

The 19-year-old will earn £25,000 a week if he puts pen to paper on the new five-year deal that the club is offering, according to The Mirror.

Ibe has impressed at Liverpool since the club recalled him from a loan spell at Derby County, breaking into manager Brendan Rodgers's first team.

The youngster is eligible to play for either England or Nigeria at international level, but is yet to pledge his commitment to either country.
