Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly opened contract negotiations with forward Kylian Mbappe.
While the World Cup winner still has over two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, the 20-year-old is being heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are each said to be monitoring the situation ahead of potential world-record bids for the France international at the end of the season.
However, according to L'Equipe, PSG are not ready to concede defeat in their bid to keep Mbappe at the club past 2022.
The report claims that the Ligue 1 champions have already started discussions with the attacker over a new deal, which would likely include a substantial pay-rise.
Regardless of whether they are successful, PSG are still likely to demand well in excess of £200m for Mbappe.
