Lille striker Nicolas Pepe reportedly wants to join Liverpool after attracting interest from several top European clubs this summer.

Lille forward Nicolas Pepe has reportedly expressed an interest in moving to Liverpool this summer.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a magnificent 2018-19 season for Lille, scoring 22 league goals - a total only bested by Kylian Mbappe.

Pepe is expected to leave Ligue 1 this summer amid interest from a number of European clubs.

According to L'Equipe, the forward would be open to accepting an offer from Liverpool, who have been linked with his signature.

The Ivory Coast international is delaying a decision over his next destination as his representatives hold out to see if Paris Saint-Germain table a big offer.

Liverpool are unlikely to launch a significant bid for Pepe in this window, with manager Jurgen Klopp said to be happy with the current options at his disposal.
