Liverpool midfielder Luis Alberto completes switch to Lazio

Liverpool announce that midfielder Luis Alberto has left the club to sign for Lazio.

Liverpool have confirmed that Luis Alberto has left the club to sign a deal with Lazio.

The Spaniard moved to Merseyside in 2013 but he failed to make a start in the Premier League as he quickly fell out of favour under Brendan Rodgers.

He has spent the last two years on loan at Malaga and Deportivo La Coruna respectively but he has now secured a permanent exit from the Premier League side after signing with Lazio.

It has been reported that a fee of £4.3m has been paid by the Serie A giants.
