Liverpool are monitoring young Olympiacos midfielder Aguibou Camara, who has impressed early on in the season, according to a report.

Liverpool have added Olympiacos midfielder Aguibou Camara to their watchlist, according to a report.

The 20-year-old only joined the Greek side from Lille in the summer, but he has already caught the attention of bigger clubs.

Capable of playing in the centre of midfield or out wide on the right, Camara has two goals in 10 appearances in all competitions this season.

Greek outlet Spor Time claims that Liverpool have been impressed and are monitoring the youngster closely.

The report adds that the Reds were one of a number of clubs who had scouts at Olympiacos's Europa League game against Fenerbahce last month, when Camara put in a strong performance.

Furthermore, it states that Liverpool have a good relationship with the Greek champions, which could help a deal get done.

The midfielder has four caps for the Guinea national team, scoring once for his country.
