At a time when Liverpool are searching for value for money, beIN Sports claims that Aissa Mandi is very much on their radar.

Despite Real Betis enduring a frustrating La Liga season, Mandi made a positive impression during his 30 appearances in all competitions.

While the Spanish outfit would prefer to keep the Algeria international, just a year remains on his contract.

While the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic are being felt around the world, it appears that Paris Saint-Germain may still be prepared to spend excessive amounts of money.

With Thiago Silva due to depart Parc des Princes at the end of their Champions League campaign, alternatives are being shortlisted by sporting director Leonardo.

According to Kick442, the French treble winners are prepared to make a £50m approach for Cameroon international Joel Matip.

Despite the 28-year-old being regarded as a key figure by Klopp, the Premier League champions are unlikely to turn down a £50m bid should it arrive as suggested.

Injury and the form of Joe Gomez restricted Matip to just 10 appearances in England's top flight and the Champions League this season.

While Andrew Robertson has cemented himself as Liverpool's first-choice left-back, Klopp remains keen on finding backup to the Scotland international.

According to The Independent, that has led to the Merseyside giants identifying Norwich City's Jamal Lewis as a potential addition.

The 22-year-old has just spent his first campaign in the Premier League, contributing one goal from 25 starts and three substitute appearances.

Although the Canaries have previously stressed that they do not need to sell any of their key men after relegation, it remains to be seen how they will react to receiving a £10m bid for the prospect.

A further report has hinted that youngster Yasser Larouci could be used in part-exchange.
